"Page Turners" is a book review program by Kaho Miyake, a literary critic who won the "Shinsho Grand Prize 2025" for her best-selling book "Why Working Makes You Unable to Read Books" (Shueisha), which has sold over 300,000 copies.

Miyake and CROSS DIG MC Ryuichiro Takeshita will bring a "ton" of books they have read before recording to the studio and freely and openly develop book reviews.

In this fourth episode, Miyake will introduce his own "way of reading novels." Miyake, who says that "the charm of novels lies in the details," will explain Miyake's way of enjoying novels to the fullest, including "preparation" before reading a novel and techniques for "imagining" characters!

Literary critic. Born in Kochi Prefecture in 1994. Part-time lecturer at Kyoto City University of Arts. Dropped out of the doctoral program at the Graduate School of Human and Environmental Studies, Kyoto University. After working at Recruit Co., Ltd., he went independent. He is active in a wide range of fields, mainly literary criticism and social criticism. He won the Shinsho Grand Prize 2025 for his book "Why Working Makes You Unable to Read Books."

After leaving the Asahi Shimbun, he was the editor-in-chief of Huffington Post Japan from 2016 to June 2021. In August 2021, he became a founding member of the business video media PIVOT.
